Innovations Waiver – this is a program that helps people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), including people on the autism spectrum, get services to live in their own home or another community-based place. Itās sometimes called a Home and Community Based Waiver (HCBS) or CAP-I/DD (Community Alternative Program for those with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities [I/DD]).
