This lunch and learn is geared to families and professionals who support young children with autism. It will emphasize evidence-based strategies to promote communication and social engagement within the home, preschool/childcare settings and the community.
Workshop objectives:
- To briefly review core features of autism
- To identify strategies to promote communication within natural routines
- To outline ways to enhance motivation and engagement within play and social interactions
