The Autism: Health & Wellness conference hosted by the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC) will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025. The all-day conference for educators, caregivers, professionals, parents of autistic individuals, and adults with autism, features presentations by accomplished professionals in the field of autism and provides attendees with valuable insights, current research findings, and concrete resources to guide and support individuals with autism.

  • Parent/Caregiver – $125, then $150 through 3/7/2025
  • Professional – $175, then $200 through 3/7/2025
  • Autistic Adult / Adult with Autism – $100, then $125 through 3/7/2025

 

Payment Options:

  • Forms of payment include credit cards, purchase orders (school, government, and non-profit organizations), and Innovations Waiver billing.
  • For credit card transactions PayPal is the credit card processor.
    • You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay with a credit card. Select “guest checkout” then enter card info.
  • If you need to be billed/invoiced (only for MCOs, school districts, and/or government or educational institutions) follow these steps:
    • When asked “Do you need to be invoiced or billed?” choose “Yes”
    • Follow the prompts and enter purchase order # and billing contact information (name, address, email, and phone #).
    • Send purchase orders to dlaxton@autismsociety-nc.org or fax to 919-882-8661 and ASNC will send an invoice by email.
  • Innovations Waiver Natural Supports Education Funding – If you or your child receive Innovations Waiver funding through Medicaid, Natural Supports Education funding component of the waiver can provide funds to attend conferences. Your Care Manager will need to to update your annual plan and help with submitting your registration.
    • When asked “Do you need to be invoiced or billed?” choose “Yes”
    • When asked if you are using a Purchase Order or Innovations Waiver choose Innovations Waiver
    • Provide the Purchase Order # and billing contact OR the care manager information (name, email address and phone #)

  • Financial support may be available via the Jean Wolff-Rossi Fund for Participant Involvement – Through the Rossi Fund, individuals with I/DD and their family members can receive reimbursement for specific expenses for seminars and conferences designed to improve their knowledge, networking, and skill levels for advocacy.
