This meeting provides information about volunteer opportunities within local Support Groups of the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC), including leadership roles and Meet-Up host opportunities. It also serves as a refresher for current Support Group leaders and volunteers. Material covered includes ASNC Support Groups history, policies, ethics, and ideas for events and gatherings.
Attendance at only one meeting is needed to become a volunteer. Following this meeting, anyone interested in volunteering will be connected with their local ASNC Support Groups Specialist for follow-up and further discussion.
