This meeting is an opportunity for parents/caregivers who have a loved on the autism spectrum as well as self-advocates to meet others who are going through similar journeys. These meetings will occur on Zoom on the second Wednesday each month, from 12-1 p.m.
Some meetings will be open discussion, and some may center around a topic. The meetings are a great way to get connected to the autism community here in Alamance County and are a chance for the community to share ideas and resources and to support each other. This meeting is led by Tawanda Eley, ASNC Alamance Support Group Leader and mother to two sons on the autism spectrum.
