It’s Cool to Fly American event (RDU Airport)

Join American Airlines for an airport experience and mock flight!

Children with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families are invited to practice obtaining boarding passes, going through security checkpoints, and boarding a plane. (The plane will taxi on the runway but not take off.)

Please bring any items such as iPads, sensory items, or comfort items that you would normally bring during travel to ensure a successful experience for your child.
